From Ms. Carrillo : Great news! Band and Guard placed 3rd in their division. They competed in a 6-band category. We are division 2A (it means that we have a total of 36-50 total performers band/guard competing. We have a total of 50 CHS band/guard students). The most exciting part is that the band went up 10 points from their last competition in 2024! This is a huge jump, and all the judges said our band is starting out very strong in the season!
Students perform at Delta Band Review this Saturday (Antioch, CA) and are excited to rank up the placement chart and score. We will be working EXTRA hard this week to continue the momentum.
