The "CUSD Reads" Superintendent's Book Club is back for 2025-26!
Students, read any book on your own time, write a review, and earn this month's reward. Say hello to October's sticker, LaBookBook.
But wait, there's more! New this year, be among the first 20 students at your school to submit 10 reviews (grades TK-6) or 5 reviews (grades 7-12) by Nov. 30, 2026, and win a CUSD Reads water bottle! Turn in 25, 50, 75, or 100+ reviews by March 30, 2026 to earn milestone stickers.
And don't forget ... each review counts as in entry in your school's year-end drawing for an e-reader. The more books you read and review, the greater your odds of winning!

Hey Seniors! Crazy to think we are already planning for graduation. Part of graduation means recording your names for us to use during the ceremony. Please sign up for a Bulldog Block next week on Monday, Tuesday, or Friday. Look for “Aguiar” in Minga. If you can't make it during Bulldog Block, head to the doghouse after school on those same days next week!

Every year, Advanced Graphic Design students from across California enter the SkillsUSA T-Shirt Design Contest, which receives over 500 submissions statewide.
We are incredibly proud to announce that three of our CHS students placed in the Top 25 designs—an outstanding achievement!
Stunt tryouts are on February 2nd for the Spring season. Must be eligible, have a physical on file, and athletic clearance to try out! Please see Ms. Baccellieri for a tryout packet, or get a copy from the office or the dog house.
