The "CUSD Reads" Superintendent's Book Club is back for 2025-26!
Students, read any book on your own time, write a review, and earn this month's reward. Say hello to October's sticker, LaBookBook.
But wait, there's more! New this year, be among the first 20 students at your school to submit 10 reviews (grades TK-6) or 5 reviews (grades 7-12) by Nov. 30, 2026, and win a CUSD Reads water bottle! Turn in 25, 50, 75, or 100+ reviews by March 30, 2026 to earn milestone stickers.
And don't forget ... each review counts as in entry in your school's year-end drawing for an e-reader. The more books you read and review, the greater your odds of winning!

Hey there, Bulldogs. Make sure to sign up for the Electives Balloting Faire Bulldog Block tomorrow, 01/15/2026, to learn and ask about Electives.
Balloting is just around the corner, so we are holding 2 balloting fairs where you can ask questions of the teachers and see what peaks your interest. Make sure to sign up for Bulldog Block to learn about AP courses being held on Monday, the 12th, or sign up to learn about Electives held on Thursday, the 15th.
We don't have to tell our students that reading is dill-ightful – they've already read and reviewed more than 6️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ books in October and November alone! 📚🙌🎉

The Ceres High Dance Program proudly presents FALLOUT, showcasing the hard work and dedication of our Advanced Dance girls over the past few months. Doors will open at 5:30 PM, and we are thrilled to have special guest performances by Mae Hensley's Local Motion Dance Team. Tickets are available for purchase at the door for just $8. We'll also have candy, water, popcorn, and flowers for sale, so be sure to come support our program! December 4th and 5th @ 6PM!
Hands-on learning in action! Our Access Electric students got real experience bending conduit today. Building skills, building confidence, and preparing for the field!
Students: This month’s Bulldog Way Focus is “honor learning time for yourself and others.” You can do this by remaining on task throughout your class periods and not having side conversations so everyone can focus.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, come by the Amphitheatre during lunch on Monday to write a thank-you card for a staff member who has made a positive impact on your year. We’ll have cards and supplies ready. Come share gratitude and help spread kindness across campus.

Get ready to dance the night away, Bulldogs! We’ve hired a live banda to perform at our Banda Night, so grab your friends and come enjoy great Mexican music, dancing, and fun vibes all night long.
This Friday is our first rally of the school year. Be sure to sign up under Casas’ Bulldog Block to see which Freshmen and Sophomore boys and girls will be crowned your homecoming royalty. Junior and Senior boys and girls will be crowned during halftime of the varsity football game.
The Homecoming dance is next Saturday, and all grades are invited to attend! Tickets are on sale now for $25 or $20 with ASB. Purchase yours at the Doghouse during lunch or after school and get ready for an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and school spirit!
