How to use Athletic Clearence

Athletic Clearence Process (English / Spanish)

Ceres High School takes great pride in our athletic program. We strive to build scholar athletes who will be a positive contribution to their family, school and community, now and in the future.

Being a "Bulldog" means being proud of your school, teammates, yourself and your family. It means playing for and supporting each other, even during tough losses.

Attention All Parents

Athletic Clearance Process

• Have at minimum 2.0 GPA no more than one “F”

• Complete CIF Transfer Paperwork (Transfer Students)

• Get a Sports Physical

  • Note: CUSD does NOT accept physicals from Chiropractors

• Create an Athletic Clearance

  • Athletic Clearence Instructions

• Turn completed Sports Physical and signed Athletic Clearance Confirmation Page into the Doghouse. When the student has been cleared for participation, you will be sent an email notification.

Eligibility standards:

1. A minimum of a “C” average (2.0 GPA).

2. No more than one (1) “F” in the certification period. (Incomplete grade (I) counts as an “F” for eligibility).

Eligibility Probation:

1. All incoming freshmen are given 1st quarter eligibility. Freshmen students are prohibited from using their waiver during their freshman year.

2. 10th, 11th and 12th grade students are eligible for a one-time waiver at any time during their final three years of high school if they have less than a 2.0 GPA and no more than two F’s in the preceding grading period.

The CHS Athletic Booster Club is gearing up for the new school year!

You can print and complete the membership form and submit it at the Ceres High School Doghouse or at the next Boosters Meeting.

Benefits of being a Ceres High Athletic Booster:
