Welcome Ceres High School students and families,

It is with great honor and excitement that I write to you as the new Principal of Ceres High. This is the start of my 25th year in education and 11th year in Ceres Unified and at Ceres High. I began at Ceres High as an English teacher, then Lead Learning Director, Assistant Principal and now Principal. I am proud to be continuing my educational journey as a Ceres High Bulldog.

Our mission at Ceres High is to maximize every student’s potential. This means providing students with rigorous core classes, including Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses, as well as the opportunity to explore their interests with a variety of electives, ensuring our graduates are college and career ready. Students also attend a daily intervention period, Bulldog Block, where they can receive extra academic support and participate in enrichment activities. Additionally we have many ways students can be involved in the campus culture, including athletics, leadership, performing arts, community service based clubs and more. There is something for everyone at Ceres High!

At Ceres High we are dedicated to the Bulldog Way, teaching students to be safe, responsible, and respectful. We are also committed to providing our students with a well-rounded education, including social and emotional health. Students have access to the Wellness Center and can participate in activities provided by our Student Support Specialists. We believe that every student should have every opportunity to develop into the best versions of themselves.

As we begin this new school year together, I would like to invite you to be a part of our Bulldog family. There are a variety ways to be involved, such as attending school events and activities, signing up for Parent Square, our district and site communication platform, and following us on social media. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels valued, encouraged and inspired to maximize their potential.

It’s a great day to be a Bulldog!
