Girls Volleyball

Varsity: Central Valley defeats Livingston 3-1 (25-23, 22-25, 25-21, 25-17)

JV: Central Valley defeats Livingston 2-1 (25-22, 21-25, 15-12)

Frosh-Soph: Central Valley defeats Livingston 2-0 (25-13, 25-19)

Congrats to the Lady Hawks for their program-wide sweep over the Livingston Wolves last night!  The CV Varsity fought hard in a back-and-forth battle and came out victorious.  The lower levels also came away with solid wins.  This is CV’s first WAC win of the season and the Hawks will look to keep things going next Monday when they host the Johansen Vikings.

 

Girls Tennis

Central Valley defeats Lathrop 9-0

The Hawks continued their red-hot start to the WAC season as they dominated the Lathrop Spartans.  The Hawks are now 5-0 in WAC play (1st place) and 6-1 overall.  CV wins came from Aleena Higle, Mik Tapia, Aaliyah Jauregui, Jas Kaur, Liz Cazares, Harkiran Sandhu, Valerie Espinoza/Valeria Sanchez Luna, Melanie Chavez/Ilyana Vidal, Roxana Orozco/Genesis Velasquez Pedraza.  The Hawks will look to keep their winning streak alive when they host Grace Davis next Wednesday afternoon. 

 

Girls/Boys Water Polo

Varsity Girls: Livingston defeats Central Valley 13-4

Varsity Boys: Livingston defeats Central Valley 22-5

The Girls & Boys Water Polo teams dropped their matches yesterday to the Livingston Wolves, but both programs continue to improve.  The Hawks will be back in action at Johansen on Monday afternoon. 

 

Girls Flag Football

Varsity: Livingston 42, Central Valley 12

JV: Central Valley 24, Livingston 19

The Livingston Wolves (14-0) proved to be too much to handle for the Hawks last night as CV fell by the score of 42-12.  The JV Hawks were able to pull off the 24-19 and are now 4-0 in WAC play.  The Flag Football program will be back in action on Monday night when they travel to Johansen to take on the Vikings.
