Congrats to our girls tennis team and the coaching staff on this amazing accomplishment. The Hawks still have 1 league match to go as they now prepare for the CIF SJS Playoffs. Frosh-Soph Football
Central Valley 18, Livingston 7
In what could have very well been the WAC championship for Frosh Football, the Hawks came on top with the thrilling 18-7 win over the previously undefeated Livingston Wolves. The game went to half tied at 0-0 and things did not start out well in the 2nd half. The Wolves took the opening kickoff of the 2nd half to the house for the first score of the game. After the successful PAT, the Wolves lead 7-0 and the Hawks seemed out of sorts. CV would pick themselves up and proceeded to take full control of the game. The Frosh Hawks dominated the final quarter and a half of the action and put 18 unanswered points on Livingston. The Frosh Hawks are now 7-0 overall, 4-0 in the WAC. The Hawks have allowed just 14 total points the entire season which include a late touchdown allowed in garbage time of a blowout win and a kickoff return TD. The starting defense has allowed 0 points the entire season. CV will look to keep the victory train rolling next Thursday when they travel to Lathrop to take on the Lathrop High Spartans.
