Girls Tennis

Central Valley 9, Lathrop 0

The Hawks did not disappoint on Senior Night as CV swept the Lathrop Spartans by the score of 9-0.  CV wins came from Wins from Aleena Higle, Mikalyne Tapia, Aaliyah Jauregui, Jas Kaur, Liz Cazarez, Harkiran Sandhu & Doubles: Valerie Espinoza/Valeria Sanchez Luna, Melanie Sanchez/Ilyana Vidal, Roxana Orozco/Genesis Velasquez Pedraza.  Our WAC Champion Lady Hawks completed league play with a perfect 12-0 record.  CV will now wait for the WAC Finals the week of October 21st and the CIF SJS Playoffs during the week of November 4th

 

Girls Volleyball

Varsity: Central Valley 3-0 (25-9, 25-17, 25-15)

JV: Central Valley 2-0 (25-13, 25-18)

Frosh: Central Valley 2-0 (25-22, 25-10)

It was a clean sweep for the Hawks last night as the girl volleyball program won every set vs. the Livingston Wolves.  CV continues to improve down the stretch as the Hawks look to finish strong for the 3 remaining games on their schedule.  The Hawks are now 6-11 overall and 3-8 on WAC play.  They will be back in action this Wednesday when CV travels to Johansen to take on the Vikings (JV & Varsity only).

 

Flag Football

Varsity: Livingston 47, Central Valley 16

JV: Central Valley 29, Livingston 0

The Hawks ran into the league leader last night as the Livingston Wolves remained undefeated by beating the Hawks 47-16.  The Hawks are now 7-11 overall and 6-5 in WAC play (4th place).  The JV Hawks are currently in 3rd place with a league record of 8-2.  CV will host Johansen this Wednesday evening with JV playing at 5:00pm and Varsity at 6:00pm. 

 

Water Polo

Varsity Girls: Livingston 11, Central Valley 7

Varsity Boys: Livingston 12, Central Valley 5

On the road last night, the Hawks dropped their WAC water polo games to the Livingston Wolves.  Both games were competitive as CV continues to develop in this first year of the water polo program.  The Hawks will look to get back on track this Wednesday when they host the Johansen Vikings, 4:00pm Girls and 5:00pm Boys. 

 

Football (from Friday)

Varsity: Livingston 42, Central Valley 10

JV: Livingston 28, Central Valley 21

The Varsity Hawks had a brief 3-0 lead with just 31 seconds until halftime, but things unraveled from that point on.  The Wolves capitalized on some CV turnovers to distance themselves for the 42-10 win.  The JV Hawks lost a heart-breaker in a battle of undefeated teams by the score of 28-21.  The JV Hawks are now 5-1-1 overall and 4-1 in WAC play.  CV will be back in action this Friday night when they host the Johansen Vikings at the Ceres High Stadium on CUSD Band Night.  Game times are: JV 5:00pm and VAR 7:00pm.
