Varsity: Central Valley 21, Grace Davis 1

The Lady Hawks kicked off WAC play in style as they broke in the new fields at Grace Davis with an offensive onslaught.  The CV bats were alive all afternoon as Freshman, Saleh Chesney led the way going 3-4 with a home run and 4 RBI.  Gaby Delatorre also had a big day with a home run of her own, a double, 2 RBI, and 4 runs scored.  On the mound, Brooklynn Steeley took care of business, going the distance and allowing 0 earned runs to go along with 7 K’s.  The Hawks (2-5 overall, 1-0 WAC) will look to keep the bats going today as they play their first home game of the season against the Pacheco Panters.
