The "CUSD Reads" Superintendent's Book Club is back for 2025-26!
Students, read any book on your own time, write a review, and earn this month's reward. Say hello to October's sticker, LaBookBook.
But wait, there's more! New this year, be among the first 20 students at your school to submit 10 reviews (grades TK-6) or 5 reviews (grades 7-12) by Nov. 30, 2026, and win a CUSD Reads water bottle! Turn in 25, 50, 75, or 100+ reviews by March 30, 2026 to earn milestone stickers.
And don't forget ... each review counts as in entry in your school's year-end drawing for an e-reader. The more books you read and review, the greater your odds of winning!

Hey Seniors! Crazy to think we are already planning for graduation. Part of graduation means recording your names for us to use during the ceremony. Please sign up for a Bulldog Block next week on Monday, Tuesday, or Friday. Look for “Aguiar” in Minga. If you can't make it during Bulldog Block, head to the doghouse after school on those same days next week!

Students who read any book and turn in a review by the end of the month earn a "Reading Is My Jam" sticker, plus an entry in their school's year-end e-reader drawing! Hey there, Bulldogs. Make sure to sign up for the Electives Balloting Faire Bulldog Block tomorrow, 01/15/2026, to learn and ask about Electives.
Balloting is just around the corner, so we are holding 2 balloting fairs where you can ask questions of the teachers and see what peaks your interest. Make sure to sign up for Bulldog Block to learn about AP courses being held on Monday, the 12th, or sign up to learn about Electives held on Thursday, the 15th.

Congratulations to Ceres High School Band, Choir, and Mariachi 🎺🎤🎻 on a fun and festive winter concert conducted by Music Director Gracie Carrillo and featuring two special guests!
